Reasons For Applying:
My RL friend Marty is in this guild and he told me you were short on rogues. I've recently come back to Bronzebeard to play mine and I want to start raiding again aswell.
What are your expectations of our guild:
I expect this guild to be dedicated, enthousiastic, serious, righteous and mature.
What are your goals within our guild:
Progressing on raids both now and in Cataclysm.

I have tanked up to 7/12 in ICC on my Death Knight and I've DPS'd on my rogue through Naxx, Ulduar and ToC in their respective patches.
Is there anything else you want to tell us not already covered?:
I know my class very well and manage to pull off great DPS with little gear. I'm a quick learner and very flexible. I'm often available for raids.

Hi.
First of all let me be honest, hope i'm not too blunt because this is said with the best of intentions. Before applying for a raidspot in a guild raiding ICC25, you should always check that your gear meet the standards for the level the guild you're applying for so we don't get the feeling of "here's someone applying for a gearboost". I see you have applied for a raidspot and your gear don't fit for icc25. Second: you should always, and i mean always be sure that you explain why your gear isn't properly enchanted or what purpose that "odd looking" or missing enchant has. Third: i see a lack of "description of your personality". Please do take your time giving us some info about yourself since it's gonna matter since we're gonna hang out for quite a few hours every week after all, and your social skill is going to matter.
For a raidspot, i'd say declined.
However .. if you decide to apply for a social spot, please do fill in some details. Make sure you have the time available to make a good and solid description of yourself, unless you have a friend in guild that might wanna vouch for you ....

Thank you for your reply.
First of all I'm not looking for a gear boost. I can pull off 10K DPS on ICC25 easily and if others have a problem with me needing on gear I simply don't. I understand your concern though. The reason for my gear being so bad is because I've been inactive/playing my Death Knight for months. I'm currently in the progress of updating my gear to ICC level.
About myself: I am a real life friend of Marty, I'm starting my exam year next year and I'm planning to go to university after that. I'm exceptionally good at maths. I play tennis and I like watching movies, going out, partying and gaming. On WoW my current aim is to play my 80 rogue more and take him to a higher level of gear and achievements. I am one of the best 19 twink rogue players world-wide aswell, going by the name of Rayu. I blog on TwinkInfo.com and am well-known in the twink society even though I'm retired from twinking. I know my game, my class, my bosses and I'm a team player. Even though this apply is quite formal I'm always very social in-game, on Ventrilo aswell as in real life.
I hope to have answered all of your questions. I'm applying to become of addition to your raiding team and certainly not to slow you down.

That's a bit more "meat on the bones". Thank you, and the fact that you contacted me in-game to make yourself clear is keen too. I'm not one to judge upon your spec and gear since i specialise in Feral DPS rather than Rogue. I'm merely giving our class leaders a "heads up" on your gear and see how it might fit your spec. I do have a mutilationspec'd rogue with a sick amount of dps judging by gear, but that's when facing a certain kind of mob. i do pull over 60k DPS on my main facing the right amount of trash, and doing 10k+ consistantly on a singletarget mob in icc. But getting aling with the guild, and adapting to the strategy is what i'm asking for. And again .. i sense you feeling "mocked" or something. This is not what i intend to do, just trying to get more of your personality into the app so you can pass rather than being declined on low level gear.

I'm good at raiding and I'm very social, but that's not really anything I can prove to you in a forum post is it? =P You can ask Marty any time. If he's in a good mood he'll admit I can be very nice (sometimes). ^_^ |

I can vouch for Julian.
I know his gear is a bit behind, but the last months he has been active on an other server, Draenor. His character there was called Siu (Armory: http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Draenor&cn=Siu); you can see his ICC progress on that toon.
Ofcourse, he is applying with another toon, but I know he is not looking for a gearboost/ICC boost whatever, I know he'll work on his gear as fast as he can.
